Who we are
CineRank at rank.24craftshub.com is a cinema ranking and tier-list community operated by WishVAS Enterprises under the 24CraftsHub brand. This notice explains personal information used by this website. Other 24CraftsHub websites may provide their own notices.
Information we collect
- Account details: your WordPress username, email address, display name, password hash and account preferences. Passwords are handled by WordPress; CineRank does not display your password.
- Contributions: title ratings, poll choices, tier-list titles and items, publication status, and timestamps.
- Community preferences: creators you follow, optional creator bio and public-profile setting, notifications and read status.
- Moderation and contact: reports you submit, participation restrictions, and information you send when requesting support or exercising privacy choices.
- Technical information: the hosting, security and delivery services used by the website may receive IP addresses, browser details, request times and access/error logs. CineRank’s own short-lived rate-limit records use your account ID, action and time window.
Why we use it
We use this information to provide accounts; save and display contributions; calculate aggregate rankings and poll results; deliver requested creator updates; protect against abuse; review reports; maintain the website; and respond to privacy or support requests.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may be based on providing a requested service, consent for optional features, legitimate interests in running and protecting the community where permitted, or legal obligations. Optional creator profiles and notification preferences can be changed in My CineRank. This notice is not a request for blanket consent to unrelated tracking or marketing.
What other people can see
Published tier lists, their contents and the author’s display name are public and may be indexed by search engines or shared by visitors. Draft, pending and private tier lists are limited to their owner and authorised site administrators. Turning off your creator profile does not unpublish an existing tier list.
If you enable a creator profile, its display name, short bio, published lists and follower count become public. Your list of followed creators, individual poll choices, rating history and inbox are not exposed to other members by CineRank. Administrators can access records needed to run and moderate the site. Poll totals and ranking scores are public aggregates; they are not a promise of anonymity, particularly when participation is small.
Choose a display name and bio you are comfortable sharing. Avoid publishing contact details or sensitive information about yourself or others.
Providers and external links
Hosting, database, backup, security and email-delivery providers may process information necessary to operate the website, subject to the operator’s service arrangements. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect the service and its users.
Where TMDB catalogue imports are enabled, CineRank’s server requests movie/series metadata from TMDB using the operator’s credential. These import requests do not include member emails, follows or votes. If remote posters are enabled, your browser connects to TMDB’s image CDN, which can receive your IP address, browser information and request data. See TMDB’s privacy policy.
Other external websites, social destinations and any avatars or integrations supplied by WordPress or the active theme have their own practices. CineRank creator cards use text initials and do not request external avatars. Follow external links only when you choose to do so. Service providers may process data outside your country; applicable safeguards depend on the provider and the operator’s arrangements.

Hosting — Hostinger
CineRank is hosted on Hostinger infrastructure. Our website files, database and member information are stored within our hosting environment. Hostinger processes data needed to deliver, maintain and secure the hosting service. Technical records may include IP addresses, request times, browser information and server errors. Hosting logs and backups follow the retention arrangements described separately in this policy.

Spam protection — Akismet
We use Akismet Anti-spam, provided by Automattic, to check supported comments and form submissions for spam. Where a submission is checked, information sent to Akismet may include the submitted content, name, email address, IP address, browser user-agent information, referring page and website address. The information transmitted depends on the form and integration being used.
Installing Akismet does not mean that every CineRank rating, poll vote or tier list is submitted to Akismet.

Website security — Wordfence
We use Wordfence, provided by Defiant, for firewall protection, security scanning and login protection. Depending on the enabled settings, Wordfence may process IP addresses, request information, login attempts and security events to detect malicious activity, restrict abusive access and investigate threats. Relevant information may be processed by Wordfence’s security services. Wordfence may also use cookies for authentication checks, login alerts and remembered security preferences.

Movie information and posters — TMDB
Where enabled, CineRank retrieves movie and series information from TMDB. These catalogue requests do not include CineRank members’ email addresses, ratings, poll choices or follow relationships. If remote posters are enabled, visitors’ browsers connect to TMDB’s image servers, which receive the technical information associated with those requests, such as IP addresses and browser information.

Community features and optional tracking
CineRank stores accounts and community contributions in our website database to provide ratings, tier lists, polls, follows and in-site notifications. The CineRank plugin itself does not add advertising pixels, behavioural analytics or third-party social tracking widgets.
Additional analytics, advertising, CAPTCHA, newsletter, external-media or email-delivery services require their own disclosures when enabled. We will update this policy to identify those services and provide any consent controls required before introducing optional tracking.
How long information is kept
- Account information remains while the account is active and as needed for a documented legal, security or support purpose. Account deletion is a separate administrator action from exporting or erasing CineRank contributions.
- Ratings, poll votes and tier lists remain until removed using available controls or through a verified erasure request. Closed polls no longer allow self-service vote changes; contact us for deletion requests.
- Follows remain until you unfollow, a creator turns off their public profile, or related account data is erased.
- In-site notifications and undelivered notification events are automatically removed after 90 days. Turning notifications off clears your current inbox.
- Weekly aggregate chart snapshots are retained for approximately one year; daily ranking snapshots for up to 180 days. Historical aggregates are not automatically recalculated after an individual contribution is erased.
- Resolved moderation reports older than 180 days are removed. Open reports remain until reviewed or erased through the applicable process. Rate-limit records expire after roughly two minutes and are removed by scheduled cleanup.
- API import logs are limited to the latest 500 entries and cleaned up after 30 days. They do not intentionally record API credentials or member content.
Scheduled deletion depends on the website’s maintenance jobs running. Backup copies and provider logs follow the operator’s retention arrangements below, and deletion from live records may take additional time to reach those copies.
Hosting logs and security records
Our hosting provider, Hostinger, and our security tools may retain technical records to operate the website, investigate errors and protect against abuse. These records may include IP addresses, request details, timestamps and login or security events. Retention depends on the relevant hosting service and the logging settings enabled on our website.
Website backups
Website backups may contain copies of account information and community contributions stored in our database. Backups are maintained for recovery following technical failures, accidental deletion or security incidents. Hostinger-managed backups expire according to the backup schedule and retention period applicable to our hosting plan.
Deleting information from the live website does not immediately remove it from existing backup copies. Those copies may remain until they expire or are securely deleted. If a backup is restored, previously completed deletion requests must be reapplied where necessary.
Any separately downloaded or independently stored backups require their own retention and deletion arrangements.
Your choices and requests
Use My CineRank to manage your lists, follows, creator visibility and in-site notification preference. Open a title to change or remove its rating; use an open poll to change or remove its vote. You can change your WordPress display name through your account profile where that interface is available.
To request access, a copy, correction or erasure of personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy complaint, contact info@24craftshub.com. Depending on your location and the law that applies, additional rights such as objection or restriction may be available. We may ask for enough information to verify that the request relates to your account. Do not send passwords or API credentials.
WordPress provides administrator tools for verified personal-data exports and erasure. CineRank includes ratings, lists, reports, poll votes, follows, profile preferences and notifications in its applicable export/erasure processes. Some data may need to be retained for a valid legal or security reason; the operator will explain any applicable exception. You may also contact the competent data-protection authority where that right is available.
Security and younger users
We use account permissions and access controls designed to protect member information. No online system is completely secure. Keep your password private, use a unique password, and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access.
CineRank is a general cinema discussion service and is not designed for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information in circumstances requiring parental involvement or deletion, contact us so the operator can review and take appropriate action. The website does not offer a verified parental-consent workflow.
